should i cut back on solids to encourage more nursing? do I need to add bottle feedings to make sure she has enough liquids? help???

This all depends on how much nursing means to you... The baby doesn't really need the solids, breastfed babies are fine until a year without solids they get everything they need from you... I nursed all 4 of my children and didn't start introducing solids until right before a year and introducing just means getting ready not taking over... you can either cut down on the solids and nurse more or just make sure she is eating enough and drinking enough she should be having plenty wet diapers and at least two stools a day... this will tell you she is getting enough... It's all a personal issue I think nursing is better than solids but it's up to you

No, don't cut back on the solids, let her eat however much she wants, its good for her. Give water or juice to add fluids. Or juicy fruits like oranges work too. If she wetting her diapers okay, there is no need to worry.
