Germany invaded because they wanted to take over the world and commit genocide on all non-Aryans. To compare the U.S. to Germany in this regard is downright ignorant. Every country naturally looks out for its own iterests first. It is obviously not in anyone's best interest for Iran to have their hand in the nuclear cookie jar. They say they want peaceful nuclear power one sentence and the next two they yell, "Death to Isreal! Death to America!" And how can one of the most oil-rich nations in the world be short on energy?
I seriously don't see us invading Iran but eventually expect strategic bombing of their nuclear sites if Iran remains defiant. The world is a community of nations and Iran must realize that just being a pain in the butt is going to hurt them economically and, possibly, physically.

Yes they are in a Modern context. However from a comparisson between Germany, Russia and UK over History. Very Close.
Don't forget the US is a GENOCIDAL country! And for you Yanks who take offence at that, look at your treatments of the Native Americans, Slavery and treatments of Ethnic Minorities. Yes we Brits are also the same, but we Matured in the 19th Century into a more acceptable country where co operation was more beneficial than conquest and oppression. Don't forget by the mid 19th century, most of the larger Empire nations where well onto the way of Self Governing Dependancies of the Crown.
The Americans seem to have the problem of if some small group shoots at you, you involve the whole race in its crime.
Non US populations have always described the Yanks as GUN-HO COWBOYS, why? Because they can't control themselves once they get hold of their guns and start shooting.
However since the fall of the Soviet Union, the absence of an Equal Force to combat the US, there is no stopping the US from doing what it has done since the start of the Century.
As for the March against the 'Axis of Evil' perhaps they should look inwards and stop there own corporations supplying some of these countries and groups from selling on to them.

America and the UK for all our bad side have always and will always try to do the right thing, Iran has a real problem not so much the people but the mullahs who want to unite Islam under one flag, if they do get the bomb they will use it and best bet is on ISRAEL well we stood by once before and let the cattle trucks roll, never again.
If Israel does not blast em first I know we will do it, you cannot have a sect of people trying to impose their thinking on anyone else let along openly saying that they are going to destroy a whole country.
Get some backbone in the west if we do not stop this asap it will be loads worse in years to come, can you imagin if Iran got a nuke to the terrorists who then hit New York or London, we would have to wipe Iran from the map and we would do it. the people would then demand it.

I doubt that America will invade Iran...
many couturiers in that region have many problems with America's we go where we want policies and would probably band together with Iran.
Many of the populations in these countries see America as a giant international bully.
It has been said that Korea and countries around that region are becoming less tolerant of America...and although America is huge a very powerful they cannot fight a huge amount of enemies at once...
This i think is serving as a deterrent to Bush as he has already made a mess of two wars i don't think he'll be able to go to war with another without starting a huge problem at home...

well first of all america wouldn't attack iran, this is because, the most middle eastern countries would be behind iran, and that includes saudi arabia who hold alot of influence with america, the people of these places may be poor but their militaries arent to be f'd with.
Its interesting as americas grasp goes from south america to the uk, europe, middle east. In terms of military aggression, i cant really speak for russia but, the uk had an empire and went into many more countries than america has, and germany did too, in terms of political aggression e.g. friendship clubs within different places making things hard on other places, then yeah America are the worst

Yes.
Iran has a right to develop nuclear technology, including weapons. (By the way, I'm Jewish).
If other powers can have nukes, then Iran is entitled to develop them. One country cannot act as the conscience of the world, except by advice and diplomacy.
Negotiate - America should use its influence to get recognition from Arab/Persian nations for the legitimacy of Israel in return for Israel dismantling her nuclear forces. That is the way towards progress. Israel is the stumbling block. I don't think that the State of Israel should be dismantled, although I am not a Zionist, but they will have to be less sabra, less sabre-wielding (pun intended), and be content to be one of the leading nations in the Middle-East, rather than the military power backed up by good ol' Uncle Sam. As an aside, Israeli youth is getting a bit cheesed off with the militaristic posture.
USA - currently, you could make or break the world. The choice is yours, but remember that Arabs and Persians are not all illiterate sub-humans. Remember also that it was the 'untermensch' that defeated the arrogant Hitler.

The U.S. protection rigidity is so broke that an invasion of yet another united states of america seems unlikely. i think of that's achievable that the worldwide has accompanied the U.S. and been burnt by utilising it. Even the susceptible-kneed and pansy-a ssed brits have finally found out what all of us could desire to renowned. The States are the terrorists of the worldwide and that's political suicide these days to enable them to let us know what to do.

You are talking apples and oranges here.Tyranny invades for power, land and control,Democracy invades pro-actively to protect themselves and others who cannot protect themselves. In the case of Iran,it has been proven time and time again that they support terrorism and will cross their middle eastern borders to promote and profess it.
