Why does Al Gore use so much energy?

Found found out One of Al Gores houses uses TWICE the amount of energy in one month than a normal family uses in one YEAR.

So for all his rallies about saving energy and global warming, one has to wonder if he TRULY feels as strongly as he preaches. I'd say without a doubt, no he doesn't.

On top of that I read he fly's around in private jets which consume as much gas in a couple hours as a normal car does in an entire year.

Whats the deal with him? I'm starting to think its all a big ploy to get him in with the hollywood elites for his nomination as president.

You've got to be kidding. He's one of the most important persons on this planet? What planet is that we speak of?

So Al Gore gets a pass for owning 6 HUGE homes, spending $30,000 every year on his electric and gas bill, taking private planes everywhere and without thought wasting tons of energy that's polluting out planet, simply because he goes around telling YOU not to do the same?

Now who isn't thinking for themselves. This guy needs to practice what he preaches or shut his mouth. In the 70's Libs were trying to terrify people that we were going to cause another ice age, now in the 2000's is global warming. The whole idea of humans causing global warming is idiotic and NOT science. Gore using it as a tool of fear to self promote himself, while doing absolutely NOTHING to actually stop HIS use of energy besides maybe driving one of those winnie slap dick go carts around time for show.

I've calculated it and I believe Al Gore has used more energy in the last 5 years than I will use in my ENTIRE LIFE.

Don't listen to a thing this idiot says, there is no science behind it and its only a ploy of scare tactics.

Al Gore uses so much energy because he is one of the single most important people on the face of the planet. He expends energy largely in transit (the jets you speak of) so that he can rally people to the cause of responsible living. In other words, he is working to keep people like you from killing yourself through actions that you are likely not bright enough to understand are dangerous.

I'm not sure if you noticed, but Al Gore isn't running for President. Furthermore, if he were, he wouldn't need Hollywood to nominate him. After all, he already won the Presidential election once without the likes of movie stars.

Al Gore uses twice as much energy in his home, and twice as much Carbon flying around the country because he is a lying hypocrite marxist/socialist that wants to destroy the free enterprise system and the American system of economics.

I agree with you wholeheartedly! It is very hypocritical. He talks the talk, but does he walk the walk? A train is 5X more efficient per seat than a plane or car. Why doesn't he take a train?

I don't want him to shut up, the topic is too important; but I do want him to put up!

A "leader" who sees which way the crowd is moving and then jumps out in front of them and shouts "Follow me!" isn't a leader at all! Which is why he shouldn't get the Nobel Prize, either. That should go to the likes of Dr. Corel and his counterparts.

U should only look at the intention ,which is good . That doesn't mean that he would be required to live by them. He is just an actor.
