should be fine... if you wanna keep it longer, tho, freeze it. we eat turkey for about a month after Thanksgiving... 4 days is fine. We also buy meat through a butcher, and we're eating meat that's over a year old that's been deep frozen... still good, too. the next paragraph kinda describes it in terms of bacteria.

When you want to keep food, freezing is good, and refrigeration works too. Keep it below 40 degrees Farenheit, and it'll stop the growth of bacteria. Unfortunately, you can not kill bacteria with cold. This is why you must cook food to make it edible, even after pre-cooking. When cooking, 140 degrees Farenheit will actuall kill bacteria. The reason re-heating food requires a short cook, is that between the time that it is cooked, and the time it is regrigerated, the food cools to a temperature that bacteria can grow and reproduce. Some bacteria can still grow below 40 degrees, and this is why freezing will keep food for a longer amount of time.

Leftover turkey should be used within one month after freezing. Use freezer wrap or freezer containers. Proper packaging is important to the success of frozen leftovers. Otherwise, circulating air in the freezer will create freezer burn – white dried-out patches on the surface of food that make it tough and tasteless. Use heavy-duty aluminum foil, freezer paper, or zip-closure freezer bags for best results. Do not leave air space. Squeeze excess air from freezer bags and fill rigid freezer containers to the top with dry foods. Leave one-inch headspace in containers with liquid and 1/2-inch in containers with semisolids. Don't forget to label and date packages and use the oldest ones first.
Do: Use leftover turkey within 3-4 days
Divide and store leftovers in small, shallow plastic containers less than 2 inches deep for even, rapid cooling - and seal lids tight. Packing foods in large, deep containers lets food cool too slowly and can give bacteria a chance to thrive.

So, in conclusion I think that you can definitely use your leftover turkey tomorrow. I hope the soup tastes good!
