It's not unusual for a new set of tires to "PULL".

Any mis-alignment usually happens gradually,,,and the Tires wear accordingly,,,,and gradually.

So New Tires feel to the Car,,,
the way stiff, tight new shoes do to US----it's "foreign".

A front end alignment is needed to correct the PULL.

Note that I stress PULL.

You should NOT be getting anything even near a JERKING type of pull.

That an indication of either being Unusually,Extremely out of alignment,,,,
Or more likely some worn or damaged parts.

If it's doing it in BOTH directions,,it's NOT likely a Tire or Alignment Problem.
That will strongly favor ONE SIDE

BOTH directions is almost always front suspension/steering parts wear or damage.

Now,,this is RARE,Very Rare,,,but even a NEW Tire can have a Problem.

More Rare,,,the tire may not be mounted properly,,,or it MIGHT even have one different size tire.
It's NOT likely,,,but I seen it happen a few times.

I suggest taking it back to the tire store,,
then take it to a mechanic .

BE CAREFUL till You get it checked out!!
Remain Aware as your are driving,,that you have a Steering Problem of Unknown Cause ---"expect" anything.
I'd advise staying OFF the Freeway if at all possible.

Good Luck with it,,,hope it's nothing serious

Whenever you get a new set of tires, it is worth getting a four wheel alignment done. It will cost you anywhere from $45 to $75 and will save you that much in tire wear and gas savings. A pretty fair place to take it to is your local Sears Auto. They guarantee the alignment for life of the car. They will also check all the associated steering parts to see if you need repairs there, also.

If the car drove better before, cross the front tires and see the difference

your vehicle needs an alignment, and your wheels may not have been balanced when the tires were installed. i am also assuming that the tires that were installed were the correct size. take it back to where you had the tires installed and tell them the problems you are having.

you could have a alinment shop look at it and have them show you what it is . sounds like tie rod end or ball joint . Could be ,axle bearings are loose from wear . or more often , loose lugs that hold the wheel on , from where you had tires installed OR SOME ONE DID NOT GET TO FINISH STEALING YOUR TIRES AND LEFT THEM LOOSE !!!!

No. You need to get an alignment. It's usual when you get new tires.

you are one bad pen, and you are one gullible person who gets new tires and those involved who sold you those new tires obviously didn't balance them on the balancing machine, I'm serious and if you don't get that mechanical problem fixed you could get in a very bad wreck and that is no joke.

Who ever put your new tires on did not align them properly, that is the reason go back to where you purchased them.
