they are destroying our economy, our schools and our health care system. They are sponging off the taxpayer. They steal jobs that citizens want. They steal identities. They demand rights and services they don't deserve! They are breaking the law and they are criminals.
What part of ILLEGAL is so difficult to get? Amnesty is sooooo wrong. If they grant amnesty to the 20+ million illegal alien criminals it will just start the next round of illegals that will demand amnesty. It failed in 1986 and it WILL fail in 2007. Besides, it's an insult and a slap in the face to all those that did it right!

I am against illegal immigration because my standard of life is being compromised.
I have a 2 bdrm apartment in the San Fernando Valley that costs me $1,100 a month. I feel that the influx of illegals is driving the price of rents and homes up.
I have to send my son to a private school which costs me about $700 a month because the public schools are overcrowded and in disgusting condition. Learning for the English speakers are slowed down to accomodate to illegals who refuse to assimilate.
I am unable as a single mother to get any state help because the standard of "poorness" has been driven into the ground.
I am unable to get health insurance for my son whom is a citizen..yet people who are here illegally receive benefits that should not be theirs.
I drive down the street and can't even read the billboards because they are in Spanish....in the United States!
I get phone calls from others and get looked down upon because I will not accomodate them and learn their language.
I am not against legal immigration, but I believe that troops at the border is necessary. Every country has a quota of people that is allowed in the country each year....why are we racist because if we enforce this.
It is a crime to come here illegally and offenders should be punished to the full extent of the law.
I also don't think that having "an anchor baby" should allow you to stay here. Children of illegals should not be given citizenship.
Illegals are hurting our economy! They send our currency to their country and we never see it again...

the troops at the border would have to be national guard
with the right to use lethal force { do to posse comotadas}
if come to America you have a process
of rules to follow starting off by breaking them from the start is not a good thing. a fence will not work possibly the only way to get them to stop is to shoot a couple of them as a warning {Mexico in 2005 killed more than 472people crossing into there country from the south .. SO WHO KNOWS BEST US OR THEM.

I disagree. This is not the "all time easiest" question. This is a point gaming question, that can be flagged and deleted. Easy questions require a yes or no answer, not feedback to be included on a term paper. You should go through the Resolved Questions.

Illegal Immigration Is Not A Victimless Crime
Apologists for illegal immigration try to paint it as a victimless crime, but the fact is that illegal immigration causes substantial harm to American citizens and legal immigrants, particularly those in the most vulnerable sectors of our population — the poor, minorities, and children.
Illegal immigration causes an enormous drain on public funds. The seminal study of the costs of immigration by the National Academy of Sciences found that the taxes paid by immigrants do not begin to cover the cost of services received by them. The quality of education, health care and other services for Americans are undermined by the needs of endless numbers of poor, unskilled illegal entrants.
Additionally, job competition by waves of illegal immigrants desperate for any job unfairly depresses the wages and working conditions offered to American workers, hitting hardest at minority workers and those without high school degrees.
Illegal Immigration And Population Growth
Illegal immigration also contributes to the dramatic population growth overwhelming communities across America — crowding school classrooms, consuming already limited affordable housing, and increasing the strain on precious natural resources like water, energy, and forestland. The immigration authorities estimate that the population of illegal aliens is increasing by an estimated half million people annually.
Illegal Immigration Undermines National Security
While most illegal immigrants may come only to seek work and a better economic opportunity, their presence outside the law furnishes an opportunity for terrorists to blend into the same shadows while they target the American public for their terrorist crimes. Some people advocate giving illegal aliens legal status to bring them out of the shadows, but, if we accommodate illegal immigration by offering legal status, this will be seen abroad as a message that we condone illegal immigration, and we will forever be faced with the problem.

Putting the troops on the border would be so stupid if we're going to put our soldiers in jail every time they shoot a drug smuggler.
Our current policy is taking lemons and making toxic waste from them.
All we'd have to do is change our immigration policy so that those same lemons are made into lemonade!

because everyone knows if it wasn't for the work of illegals, the price of produce would skyrocket, rich people would have no one to clean their house or cut their grass, they do the jobs we wouldn't want to do especially at the price they get paid for it! I think it just needs to be better regulated let them come here to work, then send them home!

Troops shouldn't be put in the border and I am not against illegal immigration. I mean, the best thing right now would be amnesty and work on immigration laws too, if they weren't so difficult people wouldn't have to. Also, how come people don't talk about the immigrants that are soldiers fighting for the U.S. whose parents are illegal?? And they STILL get sent back?? Wow, what do U.S. people want or need them to do so they can get their residency or citizenship. I say, Amnesty for all...
