It's not only Latinos. It's young kids doing it. BTW this question has nothing to do with immigration.

I don't see anything wrong with it.I'm sure its just another fad. I see people write like that and they aren't Latin. Its supposed to look "cool" or the equivalent of "hip" or whatever the currant slang word is now .

I know lots of non-Latinos who write like that. It's the equivalent of girls writing bubbly letters with hearts everywhere in the 80's.

Lots of people write like that, not just Latinos. And I'm Latino and I don't write like that, so ha. It probably started with some stupid teenagers.
