I dont know whether u will call mi a catholic or none catholic, or a hindu, or a muslim, or a christian .... or whatsoever.....
I m not a TRUE BELIEVER of any of those MEN MADE RELIGIONS....
I think i obtained my very own RELIGION inborn.... and it's Humanity.
I was born a Hindu.
I share my Birthday with JESUS CHRIST on xmas day. (hey! "naafraat" is a muslim word, i think)
I neither go to the temple nor study those BOGUS books of RELIGIONS that causes WAR and DIVISIONS betweens US ALL.
Neither have i studied written rules or system of HUMANITY.... but i can feel it inside me....
My BELIEF of GOD is that GOD is someone
who is BEYOND the LIMIT of our IMAGINATIONS.
God NEVER did gave his creations the power EVEN to IMAGINE HIM.... or else MEN may try to be the GOD himself.... due to his inventive NATURE for achievement.
It is strange but it seems that I have got my own self rules and concepts of my very own created RELIGION.. that is generated from my inner heart.
What most RELIGION leaders claims to make believe that they DO or should Do in the society or for the people .....
I DO or try TO DO, practically ..... ...
I view and treat everyone of every caste, religions, financial positions with the same balance.
No one RELIGIOUS..... may like my such OBservations towards RELIGIONS...
but i some how can feel... inside mi .... that, if GOD comes down here... he will definitly VOTE for.....me and my views, towards his creations............
LOl..... I could go on talking those things this way forever.............

I was raised in the Catholic Church. While my parents were still a bit "pre-Vatican II" in their beliefs, they were (and still are) both open-minded. Somehow I never was told that we were the only ones who were right or anything like that. Our neighbors were Jewish, so I leared about about Judaism from them. When I went to college, I sorta skipped church for a while, but I found that for me, it was a good fit. So I've stayed. I ended up getting my Master's in [Catholic] Pastoral Ministries and had a chance to learn a lot more about the theology of my religion.
So why do I believe what I believe? Why do I stay with the Catholic Church? For me, it clicks. It's the best explanation for "the truth" for me. I don't think it's the ONLY way to the truth, but it works for me. I love reading about other religions and discussing Christian beliefs with those of other denominations - to me, it helps me feel closer to understanding God's will.

I'm a Catholic convert, and the answer to your question can be found in one phrase: "the Eucharist." Jesus is wholly present in the Eucharist -- Body and Blood. No other religion brings to mind the Sacrifice of Jesus as completely and vividly as the Mass and the Eucharist.
The Catholic faith is also the first Church and has the successor of St. Peter for its Head. We have a strong tradition and set of values, and we have both faith and good works, just as the Apostle James talks about in his letter.
That's why I chose to become a Catholic and why I love my Church.

I was very anti-Catholic for many years. The beginning of the end came when I tried to prove to a Catholic acquaintance, once and for all, that Catholicism was false. To do this, I had to study Catholicism more and more deeply. Well, the deeper I went, I instead found myself becoming more and more convinced that Catholicism wasn't false at all, but indeed the One True Faith! That was pretty hard to stomach at first, because I didn't want it to be true, I really wished it wasn't, I prayed to God, "please, anything but Catholic!" Eventually I had to accept the evidence and convert to Catholicism, which I've never regretted. That was 8 years ago in April, and I've continued to study Catholicism, and I've yet to uncover anything that makes me think I made a mistake.

Catholisisum is amung the oldest of the Christian religions. Most Christians have come from Catholics somwhere down the line.
the old is usually the wise.
you really get a feeling when you go to a catholic church. A feeling of peace and mystery.

I prayed to God to show me the right path, and so many signs showed that Catholicism is right for me. I also researched other religions and it seemed the best.

It is the Church Jesus started. That's good enough for me. Like the Apostles said "You have the words of eternal life"
