For the blind people to get their "jollies" off.....good question though !!!!
They want to show off in front of sighted people!!!!

Mass production...they make the same set of keypads for kiosks, vestibules or lobby ATMs as they do for drive through ATMs.
Then again, maybe they're not braille dots...maybe the last guy who used the ATM left those there (eww)...while we're on the subject, why don't you pick yourself a winner.

Probably because they're on the key pads of all ATM machines. It doesn't make sense to make special keys for the drive-up ones.

they're too stupid to realize that most blind people don't drive...I think its mostly due to the fact that there is no braille on the road, but I have seen someone do it once at disneyland on autopia (not put braille dots, but oh, just forget it)

My grandmother was blind, yet she wanted the independence of being able to use ATM machines, listen to a movie, etc. We would drive her to the ATM and she would use it from the backseat.

haha... well sorry to be the serious guy, but I'm pretty sure that it is because they just use the same template for an exterior maching (plus weather proofing)... they probably didn't bother to remove the brail, however, it is a bit too encouraging for blind people to drive to the bank now... hmm... I don't like it... not one bit.

Yeah, if your driving "BLIND" chances are you wont even make it back out of the damned parking lot to SPEND your money!
