I have been a fan of his for many years.I must say I was a little blown away that their actually people that hate him and his fans.I realize that not everyone likes him but most people including rival drivers respect him.What about him disturbs you bashers the most?

How can anyone bash Mark Martin. I am not really a fan of Mark, but I could never bash him. I have lots of respect for Mark Martin, so should all race fans. Mark Martin is a class act, and all drivers coming into Nascar should take a good look at the way he races, and presents himself. He is a great person, and driver. If you bash Mark Martin, you don't deserve to be a Nascar fan!!

I like Martin just fine.I wish he would hang in there one more season to try for the title.He's in a Chevy, the Army car at that,(I'm in the Army Reserves) a new owner,and he's doing awsome this year.I'm a Harvick fan but I still would've liked to have seen Martin win the 500. Harvick will have another shot, Martin won't. I know all kinds of race fans, but I have yet to meet one that just bashed Martin.

He's a class act, and somewhat of a hometown guy for me, so I like him. If anyone else would have been in his position at the 500 when Harvick won, they would have thrown a fit saying it was unfair, but I think Mark is too humble to say anything about it.
We need good, experienced drivers like him in NASCAR to help guide the rookies.

No I'm not a Mark Martin Basher, but don't let it bother you, Every driver has/is hated at one time or another. Mark is certainly not my favorite driver but I don't hate him, I just don't like his style of driving...

He is one of the greatest...and to those who say he's a hasbeen...then Jr is a neverbeen because he's only finished ahead of Mark in the points once and Mark hasn't missed the chase yet...He's suffered more disappointment then he deserves but takes it like a man.
