This site is excellent for dogs.
Your best bet is just to punch in the names of the dog and see what pops up. Then draw your own conclusions.

Or, call a breeder and get some immediate answers.
Your sentence is a tad confusing and a perfect case for proper grammar.

It took me a moment to realize you want to know if children can outrun a cattle dog?

Are children easier to train than cattle dogs? (LOL NOOOOOO I have teenagers).

these are all very very bright dogs. There is some confusion about the name actually, and it seems they come in all shapes and colours!

They are VERY HIGH energy and need a LOT of stimulation because of their intelligence. They bond well with a family and are excellent with children. But don't take my word for it, ask a breeder and read about them. However, that has been my experience with the breed.

Consider also the Australian Shepherd. They are just soooo beautiful although they tend to need a bit more grooming. I have had experience with these dogs as well and they are also the ultimate family dog. I know two who are companions to chairbound children and they are just wonderful!

Both Australian Shepard and Australian Colliers are good dogs for agility. But I could not tell you one is faster then other. You can train a dog to go faster. I trained my Schnauzer by taking him running with me. About 4-5 mile ever other day.

I not saying every Poodle could out run both dogs. BUT I had a Chocolate poodle that could. Man if I had her now. I could of probably win the Purina Dog Challenge and be on TV.
