Bought many things from many different purchase sights. Also sold many different things on different sights. It is not the sale sight. It is the actual person on the other end. Whether that be buyer or seller. Read the fine print. It is buyer be CAREFUL!!! Seller be Careful. You can be burned either way. I know from experience on both sides. Seller sites, as well as buyer sights will tell you specifically, the sight is not responsible. Imagine trying to bring a law suit against a local seller out let such as a local paper. They are not responsible for the condition of the merchandise, nor content of the ad. They are only an outlet for advertisement sales and purchases. The rest is up to you. Do your home work! Paypal is some what of a protection, but even that is limited depending on your specifications when signing up. The bottom line is understand any agreements you enter into with anyone. Especially over the net. Remember it's world wide. The staggering facts are that laws differ in the USA from state to state, county to county. I have checked into international sales and shipping. You don't even want to go there. Bought a computer online. It was a piece of trash. Gave it away for parts. Turned right around and bought a digital camera. Never been more pleased. With the camera or the price. Just like with a neighborhood store or company. I have learned the hard way. Go to a reputable dealer. I love to shop individual adds. You can get some great deals like that! The difference now is, I only go to sights that have been referred to me by family, friends or other people that have dealt with them. You eventually build a word of mouth network, so to speak of a network of people you can trust! I live in the USA I have to admit that my losses have been minimal compared to global. It has always cost to even make a point as far as recovery of any cost even if you can recover any costs.
Be careful! Lots of luck!!!!!

You USED to be able to buy handguns on eBay, before they got all politically correct.

I have bought all sorts of things...toys, tickets, phones, clothes, cosmetics etc. My worst experience was buying 5 separate T-Shirts at 1 cent each from the same seller who tried to charge $58.00 postage when the actual postage costs were under $20.00.
