I currently have a gf who i have been dating for about a year now. However; her insecurity and lack of trust for me is so miniscule its incomparable. Dont get me wrong i have tried my best being the best bf i can be. Being there for her when she needs me(most of the time) pickin up all the tabs, doing everything for her and her with her that she likes. For instance, she liked this purse, and i got it for her, might i add it wasn't cheap either. We went horseback riding, and much much more. The thing is we dont live close to eachother(bout 35 miles apart), and i do work til 5 mon-fri. She gets mad at me, cuz i only see her bout 3 times a week includin weekends, and yesterday she broke up with me cuz i wanted to go excercise cuz i saw her the day b4. Now she wants to get back together, knowing that theres a good chance i might leave for school outta state. What do u think i should do?

Follow your heart!!! Do you want to get back w/ her? (There are other fish in the sea...) Just make sure that getting back with her is what YOU want to do. And, if you do, make sure that she knows that there is a chance that you will be away and may not see her very much, but make your best effort to stay in touch via e-mail, letters, IM, phone calls, etc (which I know that you will). I hope that everything turns out great for you :)

Honestly? Don't get mad but she sounds like a controlling, insecure golddigger. Think about it - do you want this type of girl to be by your side for the rest of your life?

In every relationship, you need some space of your own - she does too. Maybe when you go out, she could go out and have her own friends to be with as well.

I think the long distance will take a real toll on your relationship especially if she can't already handle you working from Mon-Fri until 5.

Either that, or she wants to exude more control over you by being your gf while you're out of state (if you do decide to go), so that way if you meet another more suitable girl you might like to be with, you can't date her without feeling guilty because of your girl back home.

Either way, make a decision and stick to it. You either want to be with her forever and she makes you indescribably happy or you don't. If you don't, what are you wasting your time and money for?

Well, living far apart is a disadvantage in a relationship. If you truly believe that she is the right one you want to be with, then I say you should continue this relationship. If you're unsure then you should just let it go. You did the best you could, and she just couldn't see it. It seem like she took you for granted somehow. I don't know though. It's better to hurt now than to hurt later on once it gets more serious. It's up to you, though! Would it be a mistake to let go? or Would it be better?! Maybe you will find someone along the way who will respect you once you leave for out of state. Good luck! =)

She is very needy. I think you may be too young to have to work this hard at a relationship. Don't you want to be with someone who has her own life? Who can be there for YOU sometimes?

Just because you have invested a year in a girl doesn't mean you have to keep working to make her happy. She has to be happy with herself and not depend on you (or anyone) before se can truly love another.

Do yourself a favor and cut her loose. In the long run it will be better for both of you. She will either grow up and take care of herself or find another guy to break down. And you will be able to find a better match for your needs as well.

Good luck, it's never easy.

(and women are crazy)

shes not ready for a serious relationship. If she can't handle the relationship now, she won't when you leave to go to school. Its time for you to move on.
and when you get in your next relationship don't spoil a girl, it is the worst thing you can do, because she will always expect those things and if you don't come through she will be disappointed.
you should find someone who likes doing the things you like to do so you can hang out together. so maybe a girl who likes to workout. and someone who has her own life too, like work and school so she won't be bored and always want to see you.

college is a whole different game. this girl is just trying to hold on to you before you leave but don't get involved in a relationship you don't want to be in. If you tried your best to make her happy and she isn't then there really isn't much else you can do right? Also, you stressed that you spent money on her. Don't spend money on her if you are expecting something back. When you spend money on your gf its because you really want to. otherwise, just don't do it.

the first year my fiance and i were dating we were lucky if we saw each other a few times a month, he was trying to get a business going and i was taking classes and going to horse shows. than he had to go on trips because his business didnt work out to get training for a new company and would be gone for over a month each time, the first 3 years were like that and at times still is.
you need to find someone who will understand you can't always be together but have a trust in themselves that you wont cheat on them and they won't cheat on you
at least she gets to see you ever now and than, if she can't understand that there are other things in your life and you try to do for her find someone who will try to go out of there way for you
