it takes someone else who is better than him in every way to get your mind on something new, the only thing is , it is a hard thing to find because someone would truly have to love you for you and show you what a man is supposed to be so you can judge by him on how your ex was not, have you ever heard of from the ex to the next/ well thats the truth so good luck and be paient and dont become bitter

The only words of advice I can offer is that as you get older it will become easier to spring back. I think a person becomes less sensitive and more self assured as they age and others have less affect. It's important to remember that this person treated you badly so you will be less willing to reconcile. Value yourself, learn to love yourself, and seek the support of friends to ride it out. The guy will be amazed how strong you become and how he no longer holds your attention. Your heart will learn new habits and in time you'll be unfazed. No one can see the hurt unless you display it, so continue on as if you're already over the relationship. You deserve only good things.

It doesn't matter how much someone has hurt you. If you loved them, it's going to be hard to move past them no matter what.
There's nothing you can really do to MAKE yourself get over him.
All you can do is go on with your life.
Try hanging out with friends, taking up new hobbies, thinking about how he hurt you & that you deserve someone who would never do that.
It'll take time, apparently more time then you'd like..but that's how it goes.

because you put so much of yourself into the relationship it'll be hard to get over. my ex girl just dumped me about a month ago for putting her thru hell. I still think about her to this day...and that's b/c I now see what I lost and for that I've decided to change for ME. If someday she'll take me back then great! but I digress...lol
It takes time to get over someone just focus on you right now and if you find in your process that you still love him and he has grown and changed then work towards that in the future. but right now just take care of YOU.

if u thot u were in love with him then its goin to b hard. so just go out and meet new people. he aint the best thing in the world gurl. lol despite wat u may think but there is betta out there. now stop mopin around. put on sum lip gloss and a nice outfit with sum hoop earrings with ur hair back in a ponytail and go out. ddnt b wearin no hoochie stuff eitha, lol. go out and find sumone new.

Well probably because you really loved him and he just treated you like crap. don't worry girl you'll have nicer and better looking ones later on. Don't rely on retards that treat you like your their personal whore and only use you for sex. (Trust me I know this stuff.)
