I think hell is more to each person a different thing. Your own personal fears and sins against others that got you into hell is the punishment and torture that you will endure for eternity in hell. Maybe it's a state of mind where after you die, your mind goes to a place where fear, sadness, guilt, hate, and anger and the only emotions that are possible.

They are the exact same. The only difference between the two religions is the prophet. Muhammad followed the same god as Jesus. The Christian and Islamic bible share many of the same stories, prophets, and all around message. They both teach that there is one god. The list goes on and on. So in answer to the question, they are the exact same.

This is what I found:
Muslim paradise - a garden of palm trees and fruit, shade and cool water where they will be adorn with silks and brocades and drink from silver goblets attended by dark-eyed virgins. I thought the Bible said that old things will pass away and everything would be new? Will we still have silver, silk etc. in heaven?
Muslim hell - Each will be judged by his or her acts and each person's resurrected body will be admitted to Paradise or condemned to eternal hellfire (torment of fire) according to God's evaluation. They will abide in long ages, and drink molten metal, and when their skins are burned away they will grow new ones so their suffering may perpetuate. Wow, even their hell is violent.
