The struggle to achieve freedom is what he lives for. Until freedom rings loud and clear, he will not stop the pursuit.

My students:
~He will not give up on something he really wants (freedom)
~He is not free... and that is a problem for him... he is going to keep trying to get things to be better
~He wants his country...not just himself to be less poverty stricken... to him freedom is not just a classification... it is also related to poverty... he wants to increase their living standards
~He thinks his time is running out... he is worried about dying... he wants to do all he can...
~He wants to get as much as possible before he dies
