I believe the xdi is the pre-facelift model with the Rover L-series engine. If so, the engine size is 1998cc

The later facelifted, BMW-engined TD4 versions were 1951cc.
The new Freelander 2 TD4 with the Ford/PSA engine is 2179cc.

the actual engine sise is smaller than stated on badge but your log book will tell you this

If 2.0 refers to two liter (which it probably does) then it's 2000cc's.
