[please dont be mean. its a big issue!!]

to start things off. im still in high school and im a junior. my best friend moved before freshman year but we always have been close. during this time. it has always been me, hill, and this guy brandon [who hill and him were going out but broke up but still were MADLY in love with each other.] anyways hill tried getting over him and found another guy. but she still liked brandon.

anways she sent an email to brandon pretty much stating that she loved him and blah blah blah. they got in a fight. so she doesnt talk to him anymore.

we started hanging cause she told me to so i can see if he loves her back. well its been at least a week and a few people told me that he had a MAJOR crush on me.

1: i have never liked him like that. i will never!
2: im sure she has heard about it because she wont talk to me!

what am i to do? i didnt want this! i did what she wanted me to do! what should i do? i want my friends back!

In my opinion you NEVER date a guy who has already dated your friend or family member. There are too many guys in this world for you and your friend to get hung up on this one.

Look girl, If she is really a friend she should understand and listen to what you tell her to be true. All you can do is try again to get her to talk to you.Leave her a message or a text message if she wont answer her calls.Just say look, I am not interested in your man that way and I don't want to date him.I was only with him cause you asked me to be.Say either you except that or you don't but its the truth. If she stays mad at you still and wont talk to you than I would say she was never really your true friend to begin with. She sounds to be a little too caught up in this guy and its getting the best of her.Give her some time to get a grip and see what happens. In the mean time, just refrain from talking to or hanging around with this Brandon kid.And tell him you don't like him that way and he needs to go work things out with hill and stop this yo-yo game.
Good Luck!

I have to be honest with u, i am 29. and i don't really have any girlfriends for that exact reason. I find them to be very jealous crazy creatures, also very petty, and the mood swings have to stop. I have never really been much of a girl anyway, although i'm not gay either. anyway, I feel that you should try to contact her to let her know that you are a true friend and you would never do anything, and stress anything, to hurt her. Explain the situation, and then, i know that it can be hard losing a best friend, especially someone you enjoyed being with sooo much. but at the same time, as hard as that may be, your feelings are just as important as hers, and it really isn't fair or mature of her to not speak to you for no reason. If after you explain the situation, she still, doesn't want to be your friend, i think you should think in your mind that everyone is in your life for a reason, and everything happens for a reason, so be glad that you had those times with her, because some people never get to have close friends at your age, and then let it go. It will be very hard, i know, i have had to do that, but sometimes it's hard accepting the fact that we get older, and times change, and that you will have many friends in your life, so if she doesn't appreciate you, then why should you bend over backwards when she will really be the one missing out. Remember that you are just as important in the world as she is, and it doesn't benefit either one of you to waste time and energy on hate or dislike, just eliminate the problem before it causes you too much anguish and grief. Good luck. i hoped i helped a little.

First I think you need to be honest with Brandon and tell him how you feel. Be tactful and sensitive to his feelings, but don't lead him on. Try to do this privately or at least not in front of a bunch of friends.

I would also try to contact your friend and let her know your side of the story. You might need to give her time to cool off. She may not think you like Brandon back, but could be jealous that Brandon likes you and not her. Obviously, this could take her some time to get over. You will need to be patient with her. I believe if she is really your friend she will believe you and eventually start talking with you again.

If it is easier for you, you might want to write down what you want to tell Brandon and your friend. This might help you organize your thoughts. However, I would still definately handle this situation in person.

Give it time.

Hope this is helpful.

You must tell this boy that you don't want to see him or talk to him anymore, because it is ruining your friendship with your best gal pal. Tell her that you don't want to be a spy for her, and that you won't see him again. You have been used, and are being hurt by this mess. Do you have other friends to have fun and do things with? Try and stay clear of any more situations like this and look for people more like you with other interests. Time will take care of a lot of this, so put your energy into school work. Best wishes

Tell Brandon that you like him as a friend and nothing else. Also ask him to tell Hill that you had nothing to do with any of this.

Tell Hill that he likes you but you have no interest in Brandon.

Then tell both of them they need to work out their issues on their own and you want to stay out of it. And then NEVER get in the middle of something like this again. Tell any friend that wants you to be her eyes and ears with her ex that you don't want to be involved and they need to work out their own problems.

Hmm...that's a toughie! Make sure that you are honest with them both. The best thing that I could think of to do is to tell Brandon how you feel about him and make sure that your friend knows that, too. It's not your fault that he has a crush on you, and you cannot help that, but try to talk it out with your friend and let her know where you stand and how you feel. Good luck!

If she won't talk to you....email her or send her a letter. Tell her that you have no interest in Brandon and that you were only doing what she asked of you. Tell her that you didn't cause him to like you....if he likes you, it was something he was harboring before you guys started hanging out. Just tell her that your friendship with her means a lot to you and that you would never jeopardize this.

Just tell her that I will NEVER go out with your EX!!! My best friend went out with this guy, and her ask me out. I kinda like him. But I didn't want to hurt my friend. So, I said NO!!! You're just going to have to talk to Hill&Brandon to get it back together. Ask him if he really likes you. Then if he does tell him how you feel. Then talk to Hill. She will propley will understand. I hope it works out with you!!!!

She isn't your friend, you will learn soon enough that anyone you think is your friend, acctually isn't and once you get out of high school that sorta stuff won't matter anymore, the only thing that matters is your life and your future. I'm sorry you had to learn this way, but the only people you can trust is your family and sometimes not even them, so therefore the only PERSON you can trust is yourself. P.s. She is acting vcery imature about this, since she is the one who asked you to talk to him. This boy is soo not worth worrying over, and even ruining a friendship. I'm sorry

your right, that is a major problem! Well, Im not writing this for my own good. Im here to help! :^)
Well first off, see if he does like you, if he does, just explain that he is not the right guy for you. Then confront your friend, see the real reason why she is mad. If its over that issue, surprise her by telling her that you already took care of that situation with him. And CALMY explain that you were trying to be a good friend by helping you out and his perverted mind played tricks with him (that should get her laughing and it will lighten the mood) If she's the great friend you described, she will love ya 4ever and ever!
Good Luck!
