I only know of one reason besides epilepsy. The one I know is that it could be a brain tumor. BUT one seizure is not enough to diagonose this....Don't diagnose this yourself. You need to take the dog to a vet......good luck

Has your dog had a history of seizures? If not, then you NEED to take him to a vet. A seizure can be an outward sign of many different internal problems.

Generally, if a dog were to develop epilepsy, it is in the 1-4 year time frame, so chances are that your dog is having a health issue that needs to be addressed.

Other things that can cause seizures include eating or being exposed to toxins or poisonous substances.

PLEASE! Take him into the vet for a check up. You may just save his life!
