why do they wait until you are ready to move on to get serious? I have been living with my boyfriend for 2 years and now that I am ready to move out, he is wanting to try. I have given him numerous chances to include me in his life, all ending up with me feeling alone and neglected now, he says things will be different. I told him that I love him and still want only him, I just feel he needs more time on his own before he can truly commit to me. What do you think am I being stupid or is this a good move?

ur not stupid...ur right in giving him time...otherwise he'll feel like he was pressured into commiting to you and he'll have resentment...honestly...u should give him his space and while thats happening date...that way he'll have time to think...and if he does decide not to commit, u'll be in the dating world already...
good luck!!

men worry to be alone. if you say im leaving they say no i ll try. note the try. that screws things up. he has to be with you if he wants to but he will try to do things that arent rue to him just for you to stay. you could end up hurt. try and see what up and why he is the way he is. i am always loving with my gf we have been together for 1 year and we are both happy because we are both honest. find out what he wants and tell him what you want. you'll see how things will change. distance is sometimes good but sometimes confusing. he moght think you want to be with others as well as you might assume, if he agrees, that he doesnt care. so be ready for the worse that is my only advice.

It sounds like he's just trying to keep you with him. Move out but continue to date, if he changes for the better then I was wrong with my first statement. As far as men being stupid, we're not all stupid, you just seem to have found one that is.

Not all men are stupid....you found one that was. Move on, and find a nice smart one. There's lots of them out there.

Stop playing tug of war and let go of the rope. Think of yourself first. Don't be in a relationship for the other person.
