she is going to take driving school in summer and i'm jealous. i'm more jealous that my dad might get a third car and she will consider it hers. she will act that way. i know she is older than me but i was real jealous when she could sit in the front seat and i couldn't. i'm not jealous of that anymore b/c i can sit there now. but i's just the fact about the third car that gets me. she'll drive to school with HER friend and i'll be stuck in the back. i'll need to wait another 2 years to drive b/c i have a late b-day and am in 8th grade. how do i get over this jealousy

There really is no way to just wake up and be over jealousy. Just remember that she is your sister. Family is forever. You may hate her or be jealous every once in a while, but she's family. It always sucks having to follow someone else your whole life, but things will get better as you get older. The more you let it bother you, the more it will bother you.

Just enjoy being young!! Don't worry about her getting the car or sitting in the back sit. Sitting in the front sit isn't that great. Your time will come when you will get to do all those things. Just be patient and enjoy the things you can do now at your age.

Do you even know for sure that your dad is going to get another car? Even so, she's going to have more of a right to use it than you, tho she might have to drive you around on occation. You're going to have to wait the same amount of years she had to in order to get her license. She's waited for this chance and you're going to have to also. It's normal to be jealous of older siblings, believe me Ive been there-youngest of three, and the only way to get over it is to grow up and shut up.

No need to get jelious over this one just make sure your parents know because of the 3rd car that it is now her part to take you to places that your parents arn't like to the mall or anywhere. They may be giving her the car so they don't have to drive you around everywhere but that she can do ths now.Who cares who is sitting in the back. She's just wanting to be cool around her friends. She knows this.I'd act like you don't care and bide for your time cause it's not that long and you'll be crusing too.

Just like the back seat to the front seat thing you will get your day. Also, when you are 16 she will be 18 and in college so it will be just you. You might get luckier than she did.

Hang in there!

Good grief! Your sibling rivalry is more than that. You need to see a therapist! Stop hating your sister. One day she may end up being your best friend. Remember, she did not choose when she was born!

just remember once she is driving she will be your taxi, enjoy your youth and think of the things she will have to pay for, like filling the car up etc while you sit and enjoy the free rides
