I am 10 weeks pregnant everything seems to be going well lately i get these quick sharp pains on my right lower abdomen ( where the baby is growing according to the ultrasound at 8wks) they are very quick pains i can usually breath through them but then they go down the inside of my thigh. I have no spotting or any other sign that there might be trouble. This is my first pregnancy and of course every little thing worries me. All my books say that cramping is normal it is the baby growing and uterus growing things shifting so on and so forth is this all normal? am i just worrying over nothing?

I am 18 weeks pregnant with my first child. I think that what you are describing was similar to what I went through. I described to my friends and doctor as feeling like I was having muscle spasms. They all said it was normal, but hearing it from my doctor was what helped me to stop worrying. You should call your doctor's office and talk with them and if they feel there is anything to worry about they will have you go in.
Congratulations!!! =-)

these are nothing to concern yourself with...they are ligaments stretching to make room for the little bean you have growing. In order to make them a little more tolerable move slower, try not to quick turn or swing around.
Also warm packs at night will relax your muscles, NOT HOT, warm...do not rub anything on either, just sooth the muscle.
Congrats on 10 wks...
