They are destroying our economy, our schools, & our health care system. They pay NO taxes and demand benefits and rights they are not suppose to get. They show disrespect for our country and its laws. They steal jobs from citizens (jobs they WANT). They steal the identities of citizens. Is that enough?

I bet you everybody here that is anti-illegal has never gone through an experience an illegal has. I actually agree with Antis Suck. Yes the land rightfully belong to the natives, which are Mexican, but I mean c'mon the gringos took it from the Native AMERICANS why wouldn't they take it from us too?? But the past is the past and I'll admit that. All the U.S. people care about is power and land. No wonder the U.S. is the most hated country in the world. The only reason people keep coming here is the government. But that's everything it has, and a government doesnt make a country whole. It's the people, the hearts of the people, their hard work, the culture and customs. What is the 'American' culture? Steal? Bomb? Kill?? Nice going.
I'm for amnesty, if the U.S. really is #1 it should help the whole world, not just itself. The government benefits from the illegal immigrants. And if they are illegal they cannot get help from the government, get that straight people!! It sickens me how they can see a hardworking immigrant and compare him to a murderer. It sickens me how I work my @s$ off and most gringos don't care, how they can look at my eyes and tell me I'm a criminal at the age of 15 for standing up for my people. How they tell me I don't need my mother or father and that they don't care about us. NOBODY CARES!! THE U.S. DOESN'T CARE!! THEY JUST WANT POWER!! and yeah it does hurt, but like it or not, we're rising.
I'm studying my butt off and someday I will be a lawyer specializing in immigration and I'll help those illegal or not. As much as you whine gringos, we're not going anywhere, just up.
As for this quesition. I support the following
*Amnesty for the illegal parents of the soldier fighting for the country that looks down on him. In fact amnesty for all.
*Fix the damn immigration laws, they're ridiculous.
*Make the minutemen get a job and do something with their lives.
*Citizenship for the parents of American-born children.
Reason being:
*The U.S. benefits from these hard workers
*The U.S. as well as other countries do need immigration to prosper
*It should help the world if it is that good of a country
*Some immigrants [Mexicans] were the natives of the country anyways

O.ok. initially i'm for Immigration to an volume yet because of my expertise of Immigration i imagine i'm able that could also help you. The unfavorable outcomes that it might want to have on the commercial gadget? From the "Hispanicon" by Ed Lanza, maximum Immigrants have little or no training and they flood the job marketplace of lesser knowledgeable possitions and decrease wages a minimum of seven.4 %. Welfare and tax paid medical bounce, putting an all waiting stressed public being taxed previous what they have adequate money. so a lengthy way because the Immigrant paying taxes, illegals in many situations do not pay any. they are paid lower than the table and they artwork jobs they don't seem qualified for. undesirable corporation. the middle of Immigration study, inspect Steven A Canarota's study there.

My biggest argument against all illegal immigration and open borders are that the majority of the illegals coming across our southern border are poor, uneducated and probably with sickness that can't be control by our health dept. AND because of their illegal status the US government have to pay for their education, health care, etc. and all these is free. The biggest problem of the illegals is that they are coming in masses, too many of them and is costing us the American people. We are not talking about a few thousand, we are talking about millions and millions of these people and illegally. The only that benefits from this invasion is Mexico and the rest of countries that they come from and the American corporations that make money hiring this people. AND for the rest of Americans the cost is high and is getting higher by the minute. Now the liberals and President Bush with Ted Kennedy and John McCain are talking about amnesty for over 12 + million of illegals and leaving our border open so they could keep invading our Nation and this just to complied with the American Corporations greed. This is my strongest argument about the illegal immigration coming into our country. Now the questions is. What are we all going to do about it???

The immense damage I see being done to my city ,my state and my country. The uncontrolled influx of millions of poor un and under educated illegal aliens has cause almost irreversible environmental damage to our once pristine desert here in Arizona. The area of the heaviest amount of crossings is an endangered area. There are saguaro cactus that are hundreds of years old being knocked down by trucks and cars.Or used for target practice by the drug smugglers as they cross the desolate area. .. The illegal alien doesn't care about this nation. They hate legal Americans and openly desecrate the American flag. They have no desire to assimilate into our way of life. They want the USA to be just another third world nation like the one they ran away from.. I am anti illegal alien, I am not anti any particular people that are illegal aliens. They all need to be sent back to their own nation.

My strongest argument AGAINST 'illegal immigration' is this: It's a financial burden on the U.S. Government.
My strongest argument FOR 'immigration reform' is that ALL peoples from ANY country wanting to be an American citizen SHOULD take the steps properly and LEGALLY to be an American citizen.
If you can't do it legally, stay in your own country and fight for your own rights and democracy. In regards to 'illegals', I say, close the border to Mexico ONLY UNTIL we get the U.S. back on a stronger financial level. Until then, stay in Mexico and fight for democracy there. (Get rid of the 'Cartel controlled government; destroy all illegal drug 'dens' and expel ALL peoples causing harm and doing things illegally). These are MY OPINIONS ONLY and are neither right or wrong. They're only opinions.
Thank you.

It makes a mockery of our sovereignty, laws, borders, legal immigrants, and threatens our destiny. It is an unnecessary and unfair burder. It reduces the pressure for change (improvements) in the sending countries. Being a human being who wants a better life is understandable. However, it does not entitle a single person to sneak into America. There is no "human right" to cross borders illegally.
You want to help lots of people? Fine! Export the dream, don't import the people.

I think the name defines itself. ILLEGAL immigration. If they are illegally migrating anywhere it's an indicator that a law was broken and they should be punished and returned to their native land.
Now, that being said, there is NOTHING wrong with people desiring to better their lives by moving to the US. But, certain things need to happen. They need to go about the move properly. Apply for the right paper-work and they need to be held responsible for paying taxes and into social security.
I don't really think ANY American wants everyone to be deported. But, I think we ALL agree that if they are here, they need to be held to the same standards as the rest of us. You have to pay your taxes, you have to pay social security. You need to be employed and taking care of your own.
Yes, our country is great. Our country is great because we are all theoretically held to the same standards. Let them in, but make damn sure they are paying their taxes. It would be a HUGE difference if all the illegals were denied government aid until they've paid into it.
********************
The flip side is that our country does not require military service. What if we allowed them to come to the country and would make them a naturalized citizen after completing 2-4 years in the military? That would solve the same problems and give many of them the structure they need to survive in our country after their enlistment.
WIN, WIN!

First off it's ILLEGAL. If someone wants to live in Mexico but come here to work and send money back home for their family, hey I have no problem with that. Just do it legally so the govt. knows you're here and who you are. Second, ALL of the drug smugglers come in illegally and last, the last three violent crimes in my city were committed by illegal aliens. For every 5 coming in there's one who is up to no damn good.

The worst part of illegal immigration is it enables a 10 billion plus(not counting drug trafficing)human smuggeling economy of which a corrupt Border Patrol and Customs are very much a part.

A few things:
1. Don't come here and ask for benefits that Americans aren't getting!
2. Don't work for cash and then send that money out of the country!
3. Pay taxes like everyone else.
4. If you can't honestly say Viva America, don't come and live here!
5. If you come here and call me a gringo, please leave. Every american makes it possible for everyone else to come and live here.
6. If you can't fight to improve your own country, and you come here with your hand out, don't complain.
7. Don't come here with your hand out, come here to help make it better for yourself and everyone that is already here.
8. Don't come here and fly the Mexican flag.
9. Learn to speak English, don't ask me to learn spanish. I'm too busy trying to learn Japanese and Chinese so I can be competitive.
10. Americans should be learning Asian languages to be more competitive, not Spanish to make Mexicans feel good.
11. One more thing... I've worked my *** off my whole life. From sheetrocking 16ft ceilings by myself to shoveling freezing rain in 20 degree weather and siding houses in the pooring rain. I don't need anyone to cut my lawn or fix my fence. And there's plenty more like me.
12. Don't you dare talk about Americans as if we are spoiled, lazy
or otherwise. This country is great because of hard working immigrants and 2nd+ generation Americans who understand what their ancestors did and what it takes to keep this country great. If you have your hand out, maybe you don't understand what america is all about.
13. I didn't always have insurance and I paid cash for hospital bills when I needed stiches. And plenty more Americans do so as well.
14. When you get here, say "thankyou for giving me the opportunity to come and live a quality life". Then do your part and help us keep America great.
15. Don't ask for more than anyone else is getting. We don't owe you anything.
