Daughter. More clothes to buy and them wait until you get the wedding bills.

Most people say a daughter, but I raised one of each, in their case, the son was always needing something, and there was also the tubes in his ears, and a few other things that they had to do having to do with the ear thing, he got hurt more and required a doctor at times, had to have a raider jacket, $250.00, which he gave away a week later. stupid things, left a $90.00 skate board on front lawn it was gone in 69 seconds, did this 3 times. as he got older, things he needed cost more. But the girl, new clothing every so often, no doctors, no neighbors broken windows, she asked me for money maybe 10 times while growing up, I even told her if she needed money or anything else to let me know, she never asked for much, so I guess boys are more expensive.

Boys cost a lot more than girls do. Two boys and a girl.

Boys play more sports and get more into video games and music than girls do.

My daughter maybe weird but she will pretty much wear any thing from any store as long as she likes the look of it meaning she can find some thing in family dollar just as well as in Elder Bearman. My boys have to have expensive shoes for clothes what ever.

It is much easier for a girl to fit in than it is a boy if you send them to school in cheap clothes they are made fun of don't know why but they are.

Girls can walk in with a little skirt and some $3.00 flip flops on a cute shirt and she is a star go figure.

good question. I guess it depends on the personality of the child. My son was very inexpensive as a baby but as he has gotten older he wants things like playstation, big cars, video games. Where as my daughters toys have been more expensive like barbies, brats dolls, etc. I think in the end my daughter will be alot more expensive, hey you have to think down the road with dances proms, pictures.

I would say both end up being equivalent. Girls liek clothing, makeup, things like that. Which become expensive...but sooner or later they will want independence and will want to be able to pay for things for themselves because they want more control.

Boys will have sports to pay for. Travel hockey, soccer, etc. defintiely add up. You have to pay fees just for tryouts, let alone all the equipment, uniforms, sweats, and gas money going from place to place. Also, boys tend to eat a whole lot more which also costs money.

According to gov surveys, most of the cost of raising a child is daycare and healthcare which is the same for boys and girls. For the rest, girls have more clothes, boys have more expensive toys.. I don't know what would cost more.

Daughters of course. Then the men find out how expensive they are when they become women, and they date or marry them. Women, girls, daughters they always cost .....MONEY. Especially to men.

I would have to say daughters. As boys aren't as complicated as in dressing up, hair, and girly things. I have one of each the older one a boy, and just from my own experience girls are more fussy when it comes to the basic things than boys are.
