My wife's pug is nothing but a pest. It chews up stuff ... licks stuff all the time ... sneezes ... hacks up. It likes to poop in my daughter's room and other places on purpose. It yacks ... yipes ... is this spose to be fun owning a dog like this ? Are there ny worse breeds out there ??

I wouldn't say it's the breed, it's just different dogs have different personalities just like humans do.
Although a pug is down there on the list of "most disgusting" dogs, I'd have to go with chihuahuas as first. They're tiny, yippy, they bite so much, they like to tear things apart. My friend had one that would be so sweet and rub up on your leg begging "pet me, pet me!" but then when you did she would bite you and tear at your pants/heels.
