How do you get people to like you to or love you?

i am writing an article for the newspaper my friend wrote me a guide for the first paragraph its :
In your first or two sentences tell who,what,when,where and why.Try to hook the reader by begginning with a funny,clever, or suprising statement.Go for variety: try beginning your article with a question or provoactivate also try to make the first part exciting & interesting.

can you please write the paragraph i need some example because honestly i dont know what to write at all

Many people that seem weird or unattractive are usually very nice people when you get to know them.If you are trying to make someone like you and they dont agree with the first sentence, then they're probably not the right one for you.;-)

write about global warming, fall out boy, emo or the presidential candidates. those are some hot topics right now. or you can right about animal rights. all of these things you can look up on the internet. good luck
