I recently had my gall bladder removed for gallbladder stones.I'm 17 and a female.I went into the hospital in wy and they diagnosed me for kidney infection.When i got back home i went back to the hospital for the same symptoms .Which are middle and lower back pain.It' s very sharp and sometimes burns.i feel like i'm gonna get sick all the time.At the hospital they said it wasnt a kidney infection that i had a cyst on my right ovarie and i had gall bladder stones i had the surgery on the 7th of febuary everything was fine till like a week ago i started having the back paiin and wanting to throw up all the time.I'm not pregant!But not sure what it is? i cant just go in to the doctors i have to go to the er do you think it is something that could be bad?

If this pain and feeling of being sick at your stomach or a fever is present does not go away or gets worse within 24 hrs. deffinately get it looked at as it might be an infection from the surgery.Buy all means talk to a Doctor or nurse or teacher close to you for help and advise.

I would def Go into the ER. IT sounds not something to play around with

I used to have frequent kidney infections ... Make sure you are doing what u can to take care of ur kidney.... drink lots of cranberry juicey and water.. Stay away from pop and acidic foods... but definitely go to the doctor or er cuz if its a sharp pain then it sounds like an infection

You definatly need to see a doctor.

This is rare, but some people who have their gal bladders out can have some residual stones or gravel left in the remaining pancreatic ducts. Your doctor will know this.
