I work in a 24 hour gas station. There are locks on the doors there too. The attendant needs to take a leak sometimes you know. The doors have to be locked when we do that. Also when going to the back room for supplies etc. And in case of emergency.

Hello and do you really wan to know? They, like other 24 hour businesses, have locks on doors for when such places need to such as following a robbery, bad weather or other emergencies. They've got tens of thousands of dollars or more in profits to be protected, so it's only logical to have their doors with locks. Hope you like it!
