I shaved my stomach hair about 5 or 6 years ago, and ever since then the hair grows back thicker and courser like public hair. I know many people say it's just a myth, but I know for a fact that it's not because it happened to me. And the hair is only thicker where I shaved on my torso--my legs, face and even my hands where I have also shaved has normal hair size and growth. I'm a black female, so maybe that has something to do with it. Is there something wrong with me? Has this happened to anyone else?

It has to be a myth because shaving doesn't cause more hair roots to suddenly appear under the skin. Body hair simply increases on many people as they become older. Try using hair inhibitors on the hair. Hair inhibitors can cause the hair to permanently disappear because hair inhibitors dissolve the hair roots. Try ordering Kalo hair inhibitors. They are supposed to make the hair completely vanish if you use them long enough.

its not true, the thing is that the hair that is growing, doesnt have yet an END. thats why you just see part ofe the hair, so it looks thicker. And well, another factor is that the hair in black people is thicker than average, so maybe that;s why you feel is a problem.

Just keep waxing, is my recommendation.

have a good day =)
