Hello all, I have seen an ear nose and throat doctor about pressure behind my eyes and sometimes nose. At times my ears pop when I go up buildings and such. I was given medicine for a sinus infection a week ago, but it has not helped as much as I had hoped. At times when I play sports like tennis I feel pressure in my eyes, they blink, but after a while it goes away. At times I get a little dizzy also. I was checked for serious problems but I am okay in that area. I think I may have some kind of sinus condition, but I have no mucas or stuffy nose. Is this related to a sinus condition? I am so confused about this, I've never had this before and its lasted for months now. Does smoking weed have anything to do with this? It's from time to time, and I've stoped and still have problems. Any thoughts? Thanks.

You might try a saline nasal RINSE (not a spray) A full warm water saline rinse goes in one nostril and out the other. It draws out all the gunk and shrinks the tissue (like swimming in the ocean).

The buffered salt doesn't 'sting' as much as plain salt water. You can use a new method like Nasopure, or the vintage, Netipot. The special bottle and salt is about $20. It's also very useful if you participate in sports as this is a drug-free cure.

You can do this a often as you like with no bad side effects.

You don’t need a prescription for this therapy. So if you live in a state like mine, they’ve pretty much “outlawed” sudafed medicine. Drug-free is really the way to go on a frequent-use basis.

Sounds like you have sinus problems. Sometimes taking "medicine" doesn't make it better. You need to flush your sinuses in order for anything to work effectively. I flush my sinuses w/ a salt water solution ... I can't remember the brand I use, but do a search online for nasal or sinus flush & see the different products out there that you can use & find out a little more about doing this & how it works & can help.

I have two thoughts.... 1.Do you notice these headaches every time there is a high pressure system moving in? Rain, ice or snow? In my case, when there is a super big *** storm coming I can feel it my head. Pressure from atmosphere... 2. Migraines....occur behind one eye, or one side of the face. I get migraines when a pressure system comes in. Also, do you see little flashes of light before your head pounds?

Smoking "pot" is worse than smoking a cigarette.Any type of smoking isn't a good idea, doing so with a possible ear and sinus infection is Dumb ! It's really up to you, either you want to get better or you don't. Take care. SW RNP

Quit smoking week or anything else and get a second opinion from a new doctor.
