It could be like GOD made Adam 1st then he made Eve to keep him company. So he could have made Rooster 1st, then chicken(aka) Hen to keep Rooster company, then came the EGG. hows that?

Hello. Someone else asked this question, but I'll share the answer with you too. By wisdom, logic, and in proper order God created the world. So consequently the CHICKEN(s) came first, thus a male and a female so the eggs would be set in place and continue as it is to this very day. Just like when the flood came, Noah was instructed to take a pair both male and female for the procreation and continuance of the species. How's that?

The egg was developed by fish, then reptiles, then birds. Unless you are a creationist, and the Birds and fish were made on the same day. So, if you want to believe in evolution, the egg came first, if you are a creationist, It was a tie, and if you are a comedian, the rooster came first.
