lol.. Man you really just have to find a driver that appeals to you! It's hard for others to pick a favorite for you because they will just tell you their favorite driver and so what? You'll get a bunch of Dale Jr, Tony Stewart, Mark Martin, Kasey Kahne, and Jeff Gordon answers.... I'll just tell you this.. If you are rather new to NASCAR and I'm assuming you are.. Choose a 2nd Year/Rookie driver.. Someone that you can follow their career instead of choosing a seasoned VET. There's not alot of GREAT drivers on that list, but there are a few poised for greatness! 2nd year drivers include Clint Bowyer, David Gilliland, Denny Hamlin, David Stremme, Reed Sorenson, Martin Truex Jr, and J.J. Yeley... Your 2007 Cup Rookies include A.J. Allmendinger, Eric McClure, Paul Menard, Juan Pablo Montoya, David Ragan, David Reutimann, Brandon Whitt, and Regan Smith. Those are alot of choices so find one that fits you perfectly! Just to throw my 2cents into it.. If I went with a 2nd year driver.. It'd be Bowyer or Stremme.. They both look good @ the first of this season and were coming on strong @ the end of last season. If you want to go with a true rookie, It's really hard to say! Not alot of class out there... Maybe Menard would be the top choice in my book because he's running with the Top team of the rookie driver teams! Juan Pablo wouldn't be a bad pick either.. You'd definately be in for a up and down season.. As I think he will do well in Nextel Cup but will have a lot more DOWNS before UPS... Look for Pablo to have bad runs, followed by a good run, and then some more bad runs. Either way man.. Just pick one that appeals to you!

And before all you know-it-all's start emailing me AGAIN about stating that Gilliland is a 2nd Year driver.. Well, HE IS! Why do you think he doesn't have a rookie stripe? Or not on the Raybesto's Rookie of the Year/Race pages? He ran 15 races last season, which makes him ineligable to be a Rookie..

This is a tough one. I have many favorites. Dale Jr, Stewart, Harvick, and Kahne. Maybe you should check out the rookies this year. There are some guys out there that are looking pretty good for their first season. It's still early. Check out Montoya, Ragan, Reutimann, or Menard. Any of these guys are worth watching. Ragan is currently 5th in points after 2 races. I must say that's pretty impressive for a rookie.

You could also check out the 2nd year drivers. Gilliland, Hamlin, and Sorenson are hanging in there. I personally like Hamlin. He seems to be a country boy at heart.

I'm also a new fan to the sport. I decided to pick a team of racers to cheer for, based on the owner's teams. Makes sense as they work together on the track.

Hendrick Motorsport is the best team . But there are other teams that might be interesting to cheer for. Each of the owners is tied to a manufacturer. So if you are a Ford, Toyota, Chevy, or Dodge fan, you can pick a team that drives you car preference.

Hendrick is Chevy (Johnson, Mears, Kyle Busch, and Gordon)
RCR is Chevy (Bowyer, Harvick, and Burton)
DEI is Chevy (Junior, Menard, and Truex)
Ginn Motorsport is Chevy (Martin, Smith, Nemechek, and Marlin)
Joe Gibbs is also Chevy (Stewart, Yeley, and Hamlin)
Roush Racing is Ford (Biffle, Kenseth, Edwards, McMurray, and Ragan)
Robert Yates is Ford (Rudd and Gilliland)
Evernham is Dodge (Kahne, Riggs, and Sadler)
Penske is Dodge (Newman and Kurt Busch)
Chip Ganassi is Dodge (Stremme, Sorenson, and Montoya)
Bill Davis Racing is Toyota (Blaney and Mayfield)
Michael Waltrip Racing is also Toyota (Waltrip, Jarrett, and Reutimann)

Once you have a team, one of the drivers may become a favorite. And like sports teams, you have a chance to cheer of a hot rookie every few years.

Good luck!

The Best Driver out there right now is Tony, he will get all he can get out of the Car he is driving, of course he does make mistakes like every other driver. Tony's emotions get's the best of him sometimes and it will cause him to lose Races. He has the skill and the DESIRE that makes him the BEST (right now). He is not my Favorite by far, I just feel he is the Best Driver. Second Best is Kevin Harvick, he is almost as good as Tony and seems to have the ability to keep his emotions in check (he use to be worse than Tony). Again he is not my favorite driver. No driver is going to win every race, your going to have to choose a driver that meets your standards, stick with him until you change your mind.

I can't tell you a driver cause I have this problem I seem to give my drivers bad luck but maybe it is just me. But I think Denny Hamlin would be a good one cause he has talent. But he might have what they call the sophmore jinks. Sorry for spelling my spelling ain't the greatest. How about Jeff Burton. I know he is consistant. He also seems to be coming back from so slumpy years. Plus he is the nicest driver I have ever met.

I personally, wont get behind a driver, just because He tends to win races, regularly. I have to think that I would hit it off with them, if I met them in person. they have to be pretty laid back. here is My list.
1. Elliott Sadler
2. Ricky Rudd
3. David Gilliland
4. Mark Martin
5. Dale Jarrett
Davey Allison, used to be at the top of the list, followed by Ernie Irvan.

Well the most consistent driver the last 5 years has been Jimmy Johnson.

Hope that helps.

First you should pick your team preference either Dodge, Ford, Chevy, or Toyota. Then pick a driver from that choice. They're all good in one way or another...just choose one

If he needs to sit down on you tell him that you adore him and decide to be his lover. Then he wont hate you and sit down on you. heavily, how does he slot interior the drivers seat and be in a position to steer???
