I even called uniden and they said just reboot everything and I said ok and I did that well guess what it didn't fix the problem. I went to the global settings feature to make sure the call waiting was turned on it was. When i hit the flash button it does not flip over. I need help and thought maybe someone out their can help me. I do not know if you will need the model number but it is TRU9480 series.

yes I do have call waiting...I have never had this problem until I bought these phones.

I have a Uniden...the call-waiting is totally different then other phones...call yourself from your cellphone...and see what the phone does! I also thought that the call waiting doesn't work...but it will...its just different....but call waiting comes from your provider, not the phone!

Alot of people I know have been having trouble with Uniden phones recently... I'd suggest returning the phones as defective and buying a different brand of phone

I have Uniden phones and the caller ID won't show up until after two rings its really stupid I know

Do you have call waiting enabled with your phone service provider? Seems kind of obvious but the most obvious things can be forgotten.
