Hamburger and Macaroni
Ingredients:
1 pound ground beef
1 yellow onion, chopped (or mixed chopped green onion greens and yellow onion)
Olive oil
1/2 teaspoon seasoned salt
Dash crushed red pepper
1/2 teaspoon celery seed
1 large can (28 oz) of diced tomatoes
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
1/4 cup chopped parsley
2 cups uncooked macaroni
1. Get a large pot of hot water heating and begin cooking the macaroni as per the directions on the macaroni package.
2. In a skillet, brown the ground beef in a tablespoon of olive oil on high heat. Stir only infrequently so that the ground beef has an opportunity to brown.
3. In a large skillet, sauté chopped onion with a tablespoon of olive oil on medium high heat. Add the ground beef and lower the heat to medium. Add a dash of crushed red pepper. Add seasoned salt. Add celery seed. Add canned tomatoes. Add Worcestershire sauce. Bring to a simmer and let simmer for 5 minutes. Mix in the drained and cooked macaroni and parsley. Simmer for another 5 minutes.I top with Parmesan Cheese

Sautee the pepeprs, onion and mushrooms until soft. Mix with the meat and make meatloaf (this works better if you add an egg as well, and I normally add a handful of breadcrumbs.) Bake the loaf at 375 until it is done (like 30min for a pound, adjust depending on the size of your loaf.) Then make a cheese sauce and put that with the noodles, and you have mac and cheese. Simple cheese sauce is just warmed up milk with some cheese in it. If you make a simple roux first I think it is a little better. Or you can make it a scramble, toss it over the noodles and put a cheese sauce on the whole thing. OR just skip the pasta and make it like a philly cheese steak sandwich, put some provolone on the bread and toast the whole thing (after cooking up the veggies and the meat)

Brown 2 lbs. of your hamburger, drain, add 2 cans tomato sauce, 1/2 can water, add salt, garlic powder, oregano, basil, and 1 tbs. brown sugar. Cook until heated through and liquid has a gravy consistency. Serve over your choice of prepared pasta. Serve with a tossed green salad and bread which has been topped with garlic powder and mozarella cheese and heated in the broiler until the cheese is melted and golden.

Swedish Meatballs are delicious! A little difficult to make, but worth it:
INGREDIENTS:
1 1/2 cups soft bread crumbs, about 3 slices bread
1 tablespoon dried minced onion or 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
1 1/2 teaspoons salt
1/4 teaspoon pepper
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cup milk
2 pounds ground beef
2 tablespoons butter or margarine
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 tablespoons flour
1 can (10 1/2 ounces) condensed beef broth
1 cup half-and-half or light cream
PREPARATION:
Combine bread crumbs, onion, salt, pepper, nutmeg and 3/4 cup milk in a large mixing bowl. Let milk soak into crumbs for a few minutes. Gently stir in ground beef until well blended; form into balls about 1 to 1 1/2 inches in diameter.
Meatball Recipe
Brown meatballs in butter and oil in a large skillet; remove with a slotted spoon to a 2 1/2-quart baking dish. Drain off all but 2 tablespoons of drippings; stir flour into drippings. Cook, stirring constantly, until bubbly. Stir in beef broth and cream. Continue cooking, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens and boils for a minute. Pour over Swedish meatballs in baking dish. Bake Swedish meatballs at 325° for 35 to 45 minutes. Swedish meatball recipe

ok, this is an easy pasta dish to make (lol I can make it so nearly anyone can do). First off, fry whatever meat you want to have in the pasta dish (I don't eat so I don't put it in), then add chopped veggies, pinenuts and two teapsoons of garlic and fry them together. Grab a can of tomato and spinach sauce and add this to the mix, along with three tablespoons of low fat cottage cheese. Serve with pasta, top with basil (deocration), parmesan and pepper (to taste). Cheating a bit I know using canned sauce but hey, tastes good and easy to do lol.
