The best thing for problems with mental health is for society to treat them the same as any other illness. Far more people would then benefit from treatments once the stigma was removed. Good physical and mental health go hand in hand to make a well rounded person.

The word mental means mind. A good state of mind is one that has joy ( not manic joy); this is its affect. So you have good mental health. A bad state of mind is where some extreme form of the other 5 basic emotions affects one. The other 5 are: anger, sadness, fear, surprise and disgust. When the mind is controlled by these in the extreme you have bad mental health.

What is it that you want to know about mental health? EVERYONE has mental health - some people have good mental health and some people have poor mental health.
The effect of poor mental health is different depending on the person and the nature of the illness.

in my experience u can be pleasantly unaware that u have a mental problem. It only becomes a mental health issue once people around u start to openly say that u have a mental health issue because of your behaviour. The real problems begin once the doctors say u have a mental illness and everything u thgt u knew as a fact they leave u wondering wots real and wots not.they leave u totaly confused about yourself and others, dont give u any solutions but they turn your life upside down which in turn brings out bad effects of the dissorder that they say u have ,which until u r told u have it u never assumed were bad effects just life

mental health varies and so does its affects so you gotta be a bit more specific. Generally mental health is to do with a combination of genetic/biological and psychological factors.

It is hard to give you a very satisfactory answer unless you could share a little more about what kind of mental illness you are talking about, and what you are asking others about this illness.
I have had times of depression and anxiety during my life, and my son has had a similar illness which also causes him to hear distressing voices in his mind, so we could maybe be of help.....but just would like to know a bit more about your problems first!

you be responsive to, i'm a reasonably clever lady, yet I easily have my share of issues. as a rule social rigidity and melancholy. it form of feels maximum smarter human beings have some psychological well being subject concerns, however the opposite isn't real. there are a number of those with psychological well being subject concerns who are not notably intelligent in any respect. So i assume i could say this is not any longer psychological well being that is affecting awareness, yet awareness that is affecting psychological well being.
