Dont worry so much! At least you got your GED..there are some jobs that would rather you had a hs diploma, but hey, if your good, your good. Who cares what you have! Put your mind to it and you can be as big as you want to be! Everything does not revolve around that dilpoma like they teach you in school, TRUST ME...

That depends. Do you already have any work experience? If so, depending on what work experience you have, would you be able to advance and make more money over time without the degree? And even if you would, high school graduates and college graduates will probably end up getting promotions over someone without a degree.
Now, there are people out there with PhD's that are having problems finding jobs in their fields and are taking much lower paying jobs. So having degrees doesn't GUARANTEE high paying jobs. But, having a degree will help you get a job when the job market is bad vs. if you don't have one, you might be out of luck.
Not only that, but if you have children already or want children down the road, how can you stress the important of an education if you yourself don't have one?
A GED is considered equivalent to the diploma, so having the GED will make a difference. I know someone having this very problem because they don't have the GED.
Plus the earning potential over a lifetime could be significantly higher with the GED vs. not having it.

Of course. It would be hard to find a store clerking job without a high school diploma. Of course a GED would help - it is the same equivalency, even for admission to post-secondary education.

Yes it will really hurt you! Your entire future would be limited! Your earning would likely never be above poverty wages! If you are considering dropping out DON'T!
A GED will help only if you follow that up with college (start at a community college, where they'll accept you) or vocational training.
Education is the key to a stable future.

YES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! it will hurt you. Get your diploma if you can. The only time you should get a GED is if you can NOT go to school for some very extraordinary reason. And the more education, the better.

If nothing else, get a GED. It is hard to find a job with just a diploma, or a GED, so please, follow thru and have a brighter future.

yes it really can. unles you invent somthing like bill gates did and make millions. you will not be able to get a job to support your self as much as a job that you had to go to collage for. tou could find a job, but it would be a minamum wadge job.
