Don't we ostracize the smart people in society because we hate feeling stupid? We love to make fun of Einstein. You hear more about his "poor math skills" and sock habits than anything actually meaningful. We love to watch dummies like Forest Gump...makes us feel smart. Is that what's going on in America between theists and atheists?

I'm not the smartest guy. I don't hate the smartest.

Our society doesn't ostracize the smartest, just the arrogant, from my dense perspective.

The smartest folks in our society seem to be treated well, until they belittle people.

Glad you bought up Forest Gump because your statement reminds me of something he always said. What was that again?
Oh yeah, "stupid is as stupid does" and apparently you do. That's the only connection I could find. By the way if you actually watched the movie, Forest Gump was far from being dumb. Like,
Lt. Dan said, "don't you call him stupid."

Einstein was a theist. Many very intelligent people are theists and many stupid people are atheists. So no, that is not what is going on in America.

Naturally you're right. Atheists tend to be smarter because they are harder to brainwash. Also, Eastern religions (Buddhism Hinduism) give a lot of mental freedom and little doctrine, so plenty of intelligent people go that way to.

You heard what Tonto said to the Lone Ranger haven't you?
"What do you mean we, white man"
Point is you are making generalizations which simply can not be verified, because at least one person, wait,no two, three, more than one person here does not hold the same convictions as you.

Sir Issac Newton was a Christian. Who hated him? And if that were so how come missionaries are constantly being killed. Well they weren't atheists and they are hated? How come you hate religion being taught? It's not atheism......

Your logic is very flawed.
