Ok I was in my 3rd period english and this guy (my crush) was hitting (not like liking but like literally hitting just a fake punch in the arm) with the guy and so I went to put one of the books away on the shelf in the library and I was like get outta my way and a silence came and they moved and I put my book away. And the guy that was being hit on was like, "Jeez. Have manners." But my crush didn't say anything just looked at me. And then my crush moved out of the way and I said sorry. I don't know was this bad to do? Or does it even matter? Was it a turn off?

* I said I'm sorry to him he just seemed to go on to his other thing so I don't know if he doesn't like me anymore or it's a turn off

* Sorry for asking this question again, I need more answers I don't want to sound desperate because I really want to ask him out tomorrow

I know how you feel, always wanting to impress you crush and make sure that you don't make him hate you. From the story that you told, I would think that it doesn't really matter. It may have just been the friend that he was with or just something to put you on the spot and see how you react. The things that you do need to know before you ask him out are.... do you talk to him often? does he acknowledge you anywhere?(hallway, class, lunch, etc.) have you two ever really hit it off before? These things make sure that he knows who you are and knows enough about you to make a descision about going out with you. Good Luck! I hope he says yes!

It was rude to just say "Get outta my way", theres always a better way of getting what you need then by acting rudely. But if you apologized for the comment then just brush it off, its no big deal.

Just play it off like you were just joking around. The next time you see him smile, dont act all weird or have a serious face on. Then if he says anything about it just tell him "i was just joking around, i didnt mean for you guys to take it so seriously. lighten up." and flash another smile.

Well it can make you sound kinda rude but maybe he didnt see it as a bad thing if he really is a good guy but other wise its not that messed up that you said that.

I don't think it should really matter. if he likes you he shouldn't really care. it probably wasnt a big deal, the other guy was probably being sarcastic. maybe he thought you were serious? and if you said you were sorry thats the best thing you can do.

ask him out anyway! It's hard to tell if it's a turn off! you don't really get to know unless you really know this guy verry well and are friends! Then, if he's ignoring you, its a problem.

I wouldn't worry about it, just ask him out if you want to. I don't think you did anything wrong at all and I could not imagine that he would think so, either.
Probably his friend was just kidding you, anyway. good luck, go for it girl. just remember, nothing ventured, nothing gained :-)

You probably just surprised them both by being too direct. They'll get over it.
