I think you have answered your own question - she was a big part of your life. We can't turn off our emotions that quickly - hence you still miss her. I was royally dumped by my boyfriend when he caught me cheating on him with an ex. Althought I told him that it was him I wanted and not her - he still ended it. It hurt a lot to be dumped, and I kept replaying the moment when he caught me with my ex gf's head btw my legs.
We got back together eventually, but I know it is never nice to be suddenly out of someone's life you felt a part of for a long time.
Good luck

Breaking up is always hard and even if we aren't in love with a person it still hurts the ego if they dump us. You were probably close for those 2 years it's a long time so it's obvious you'll miss her. But personally I think you were confused about your feelings for her cos if you thought that you were getting back together to then have your hopes dashed. You need to sort your feelings for her first and this may help you to move on.

Well, whether you hate her or not, you obviously still have strong feelings for her, and it will take a long time for these feelings to subside. And it is not something that you can hurry along unfortunately.
But as long as you feel like you hate her, you are going to continue to miss her her. Just one of those weird things that the mind does to you.
And two years is a long time for someone to be in your life, so it will be difficult to adjust, but you are going to have to just try and do your best to move on. And I dont mean on with someone else, I just mean get yourself to a stage where she is not someone that you think about anymore.
Try and really look after yourself for while. Just be really selfish!!! And hopefully any feelings you have for her will disappear.

well..2 years is a long time...the main reason you might miss her is because she became a comfortable part of your life, because she was always around and now that she left, maybe you feel a bit empty and constantly find yourself with alot of free time... and considering this you probably don't hate her but hate missing her and thinking about her. once you realize that life isn't over the world will seem like a better place,

yeah, it probably is because she was a big part of your life for 2 years. 2 years of your life was shared with her, so it is going to take some time to adjust to that. How long ago was it that she ended it? If it was just recently, then yeah it will take some time. me and my ex broke up almost a month ago and we went out for 5 months and im still not over him!

Apparently, it takes half as long again to get over someone as the time you were together with them. So after a year you'll be properly over it, and i mean properly and so not care that she's with someone else, and may even want to be friends with her again. Sorry, i know a year doesn;t help, but the point is time...

Sounds like you're pretending that you didn't love her for the sake of your ego. You will get over her eventually - it's called love.
