what is up with guys who have best friends that are girls?

this guy I like has this friend who he literally spends every fri and sat night hanging out with, He swears up and down that they're like brother and sister... I dont understand a relationship like that. Why doesnt he just make her his gf if he likes spending all that time with her? And how does he expect other girls to be ok with that? especially when the other girls like him?

p.s. shes a very good looking girl and hes a good looking guy

Tough to answer. I would need to know his situation with her. I have a woman that is a very good friend of mine. I saved her life about 7 years ago. I found her passed out in her apartment with a 104 temp, she had gone into kidney failure. I took her directly to the emergency room. The doctor told me that if I would have waited a minute longer she would have been dead. I wanted to date her at the time this occured, but something changed after the experience and we have a long lasting mutual friendship since. It is strange, because whoever she is dating is always jealous of me even though they know the situation. I have a connection with her that can never be broken. I talk to her several times a week. The nurses told her that I was her guardian angel.

Now the man you are dating can just be full of it and trying to get with both of you. guys can be like that. You need to find the connection that keeps them so close. There has to be something or he is just trying to get in her pants.

I have a really good guy friend, but we dont spend like every waking momet together. We would NEVER go out b cuz it would definatly ruin r friendship, so yeah just dont worry about the girl, unless she like flirts with him like a girlfriend would, then i would watch out for her. -or- hes gay .lol. i see that alot
