I probably shouldn't have watched the stupid academy awards last night....or as I like to call it.....the February democratic convention.
How sick did it make you when Melissa Etheridge received her oscar and then proceeded to acknowledge her 'wife' in the audience?
So this is what we've become, eh?
Please let the Lord come back soon.....the devil can have this place.

Okay folks.....
When did I say I hated the man...er...woman? I've said it before and I'll say it again.....I love all people....including the blatant, flaming homosexual.....it's their lifestyle I hate. Report me all you want...there was nothing derrogatory about my question.

There used to be a time when award shows were worth watching. People would show class, dignity and humor. Now they are all garbage and unworthy of our attention. I'm glad I didn't waste my time watching.
May God Bless you.

I see someone doesn't approve of homosexuality. Then why not say the bigger blasphemy was committed by allowing Ellen DeGeneres to host the show?
Or why not the fact that only 2 people thanked God for helping them achieve their award?
(BTW - Good call on the February Democratic convention. Hadn't heard that one before)

You've demonstrated our biggest problem, passing judgement on others.
Melissa Etheridge is a manifestation of the Creator just as you and I. If the Lord does come you'll need to explain why you loved all of his creations any less than He loves you.

I totally agree. I also was fuming when Joan Rivers grilled everybody weather they were Jewish or not and when they said yes, she said "Good boy or whatever they were. " I do not subscribe to the idea but, the slams against Jesus camp were fast and furious. It irritated me so bad that one of the makers of the film (the head producer was Jewish) said she was Catholic and she then said that she was "Neither born again or a Christian". Well, I know right off the bat she was not Catholic then because any Catholic worth their salt knows that they are both Born Again and Christian!!!
The whole thing was disgusting. All of the people who tell the Emperor his new suit is beautiful while he is naked, deserves what they have coming.

If your religion is making you so sick, why do you persist in it?
=====================
"Nothing derogatory"?
Are you aware that we can see your question? And your follow-up? Why in the world would you tell such a transparent lie when we can so easily verify that you're lying? Your derogatory statement is about two inches above that claim on our computer screens - it doesn't take any effort at all to see that you're lying. What in the world were you thinking?

Why would you be so opposed to love that it sickens you? Sorry but the world continues to move towards love in all aspects that it can be expressed, with out without you. There is nothing sick about people loving one another. The perversity is within your own mind and heart.

... you deserve a smack in the face for saying that. You need to get over your prejudice and hatred of other people.
You know what we've become? Accepting, loving, open minded... all of which are good things.
There is NOTHING wrong with Melissa Etheridge acknowledging her wife.
btw, reported for your promotion of bigotry, hatred, intolerance, prejudice, and persecution of the homosexual community.

Yes it did upset me when Melissa Ethridge acknowledged the woman she loved. She could do so much better than her!
Just kidding, of course. I think it's great that she thought to mention someone she loves, rather than someone who simply helped to make her some money.
I can see where your priorities lie though...

Hey, its their life. Its not illegal for people to refer to someone as their wife/husband. If you knew you weren't going to like the show you should have read the bible or something.

It is a true disgusting testament of society when we start to call evil good and it is celebrated, and not shameful.
