Nope. Win98 can't read NTFS.

Why windows 98? Is it for older windows games? If not, get UBUNTU (or XUBUNTU if you have less than 256MB of RAM). It's a free, reliable and up to date operating system. Once it's installed you gain access to thousands of free programs.

No, it is not possible.
Windows 9x is not compatible with NTFS

WIndows 98 will read FAT and FAT32 only ....
