Triad: is three separate gods. Each is a god. Therefore, in the doctrine of the triad, the Father is a god, the Son is a god, and the Holy Spirit is a god.

Trintiy: The Father is not the same person as the Son who is not the same person as the Father, who is not the same person as the Holy Spirit. Yet, there are not three gods, but one.

Obviously, I'm talking about the Christian god.

No, that is the definition of the trinity. You could say they are all the same god (just in different forms), but that's different.

The christian theology is in all actuality a pagan religion. Idol worshipping. it is just that some peoples conviction and faith can blind them to this noble precept. There is no difference between worshipping a buddha statue and son of man on a cross. If someone wants to challenge by just saying what thier faith is, ok. That is your faith, but the reality of it is still relevant.

The original trinity belief is from hinduism. With brahman as the supreme lord that is the god of all others. This can be a personal god or transended. The hinduism religion has brahman, vishnu, and shiva. And christianity has the father, son, and holy spirit. Hinduism is a polytheistic belief, but when it gets down to the nitty gritty, they have a monotheistic GOD. Brahman. Then many manifestations. Like hare krishna.

Christians argue amongst themselves all of the time about the trinity belief. That is one of the reason there are so many sects, among other things. Some say they are all different. Some say that they are all the same.

In all due respect, GOD is one(sovereign). Not three, two, four, five, six, etc. And no, jesus is not GOD. A man endowed with great strength, yes. A prophet, yes. But GOD, no. And if anybody doesn't know, the holy spirit is gabriel. And his meaning is "master".

PEACE!

Neither.

They are one God. Yet they do different functions. God the Father is the same as the Son (I and my Father are one) who are in turn the same as the Holy Spirit. Their roles are their only difference.

Trinity.

They are not the same persons, as they do not have the same roles, but they are all "of eachother", of the same essense, not separated, in and of eachother, equal. They are all one God.

God the Father is the Creator/Law maker/Father, etc. God the Son is the Way, the Truth, and the Life, etc. The Holy Spirit is the Caller, Comforter, advisor, etc.

Neither, there is one God. He sent His Son who had the wisdom of the Word of God. Christ lived in the Holy Spirit of God. The Holy Spirit comes to us from God through Christ.

The 'trinity' is first expressed in Exodus 3:14 - 'And God said to Moses, "'I AM WHO I AM.'" And He said, "'Thus you shall say to the children of Israel, "'I AM has sent me to you.'

Trinity is a phrase that gets somewhat close to descriptive of one of the great mysteries of God - three unique and yet inseparable persons.

I'll accept any corrections based on God's word.
