well if its only a first date the guy shouldnt be too upset if you dont wanna persue it...most guys will bounce bk almost immediately! jus b straight and tell him u had a nice time but dont think it will go anywhere, or, i wouldnt recommend this further into a relationship but after 1 date u could always jus not respond to his calls or txts but i think thats a bit mean

If it's only been the first date then just either give him the cold shoulder or be honest with him. Best to just get it out of the way before any real feelings are involved.
