I was given a day at the spa for a gift. I am getting a massage, a body scrub and a mud body wrap.
I get massages all the time so I know what to expect there. But never had body treatments. The spa told me that they have a mainly female staff.
So what is the deal with the scrub, you wear underwear or nude like a massage? If nude how are you covered if they scrub you with wet/sandy stuff?
The photo of the mub wrap on there website showed what looked like a nude woman completely covered in a coat of mud from head to foot, do they put the mud "everywere"? How do they get it off you?

you get either paper underwear provided by them or you have to take your own underwear.
You need to take two or more pairs depending on how much you're having done. You would need an extra pair for each wrap you get.
One pair of underwear to wear as you go into the spa, then the scrub will be put on over your undies but of course it will get wet.messy so you need to bring a dry pair.
They may use a towel for the scrub part if you're lying down which you probably will be. Yeah it will be sandy like stuff but it might not be wet. Maybe thick or sticky like. It could be warm, those are lush. The scrub is so that your skin can be really clean for the mud to penetrate and do it's thing. It's also good for circulation and how your skin looks.
Just phone up before you go and ask about the treatment, or specifically anything you need to bring or about nudity.

You'll be in a private room and the person will leave so you can take your clothes off (you might be wearing a robe) You will be given a towel or your undies and maybe a robe.
Naturally you will cover up any area if it is exposed and they knock on the door and ask if you're ready. Then they do their thing. When the mud etc is ready to come off you'll be given a towel/robe and taken to a room where you can shower or there will be a shower in the room where the treatment takes place and they will leave again until you're ready.

It will go something along those lines. Like I said phone up and ask, or look the place up online, there you can find all that out. Are you paranoid or do you want to get naked..? lol

Your private parts are discreetly covered with a crisp clean white sheet while areas are exposed individually for the treatments. You'll love it. Relax. The scrub feels great & the mud body wrap makes your skin SO SO SO soft. Don't forget to tip the therapists ($10 is good). Enjoy! If the mud is mud "bath", then you'll be aked to shower before getting in the mud tub.

It's up to you if you want to get completely naked. They cover you with a small hand towel at that part and they scrub your body. If you are ticklish, it's best to let them know where ahead of time. When they are done scrubbing you, they have a shower either in the same room or they'll give you a robe. You'll love your skin afterwards ;-)
Oh, I could use a seaweed wrap followed by a salt scrub right now....lol.

its not them that remove the mud. its you, just don't get your mind so dirty.
