i'm sure she will tell you when is ready. other than hearing it straight from her mouth you'd have to catch her in a sexual act with another girl, but even if you did catch her with a girl, your sister could be bisexual. so why not ask her? in other words you'll just have to hear her say it before you make any judgements.

'It doesn't matter what your sister's sexuality is. She's still your sister, it's just that she likes women. Someone's sexuality is a small part of them and doesn't really contribute that much to their personality so she'll still be the same person.

What has made you think that she's a lesbian anyway? Are you sure that you have all the facts? Don't worry too much and if she does come out make sure she knows that you are behind her 100% and that you still love her because it's a hard thing to do when you're gay and want people to know.

If she was then she would tell you right? well let's just say that she is then she is not ready to tell you give it time and if she is not then you just called your sister a lesbian for no reason, you don't want to ask her and be wrong then have her be all offended it's hard to say. when was the last time she had a boyfriend if at all do some research ask her friends

There are a lot of assumptions in the answers to your question because you don't say why you want to know or need to be sure. I agree with the people who say you should ask her. She is your sister, and if you love her, you would want to know about something that could potentially be disruptive in your family. While society is becoming more accepting and "tolerant" of gays, that doesn't mean every family is ready to face the reality of it in their own homes. I would encourage you to be non- accusatory, gentle, caring, and simply honest. Ask yourself first why you need to know so you can give an answer if she asks. If she takes offense, you need to explain your concerns in a loving way.

I would not worry about what goes on in your sisters life because it is her's to live. She may be but would you feel different about her if she is a lesbian.I would ask her and then you don't have to wonder because you will have your answer straight from the source. And if she is you should still love her for herself not for her choice in what she feels is natural.

Go to the mall with her and point out hot girls' behinds. If she looks...busted.

Seriously, though, why do you care?

Invite your sister to sit down and discuss this over a nice bottle of Colt 45. Mmm. Smooth.

who cares, if shes happy as a lesbian, let her be a lesbian, its her life. you cant help who you love, and if she loves/likes women, let her. let her be her, and you be you...... talk to her, but dont try to change her mind, theres nothing wrong with it.
