Most annoying: "Isn't atheism a religion that requires faith..... "

Jeebers....

I'm not so much annoyed by questions themselves but by assumptions. People assume that because I am Pagan I am a Wiccan. Or that I am Satanist. (Nothing wrong with any of those I might add.)

And when I tell them I am Asatru, unfortunately some people assume I must be a white supremacist. This misconception that Asatruars are racists is spread by both fundie Christians and fluffy Wiccans (the later which I am very disappointed at). I also get people assuming that Odin is the only deity I worship, not so. I'm a polytheist I worship the entire Norse pantheon but I would have to say that it is Thor who I feel the closet too.

Of course, if you really want to know how to piss off an Asatruar...imply that all Gods are one in the same God. Nothing is more offensive than that to a hard polytheist such as myself.

This ---> "What is the most annoying question a person can ask, regarding your faith, your beliefs or your religion? Any why?" ;)

"Why havent u accepted Christ into your heart?" or "Why do u worship Satan (which i dont)?" anything like that. when u encounter a faith that is different u should be respectful & ask polite questions in a respectful manner. i also dont like when ppl try to push their beliefs on other ppl. the same religion doesnt work for everyone. u should never be disrespectful & dont always assume that everything but christianity is the devil. be open & ask questions. u will get further that way.

The most annoying question?

"How can you believe in something you can't prove?"

It's annoying because the people who usually ask that question seek to build up their belief by cutting mine down.

Any question that contains a hidden agenda that will not change regardless of your answer.

Any questions that use mistatements about the validity of scientific theorems or studies. Overexagerations of what is "proven".

Any question lacking respect and an open mind.

How can you possibly prove that christianity is real and that whatever thier faith is right.
you know i wouldnt say its annoying but its hard. it is the most impossible question for me to answer, you know becuase the bible tells you, and when you have a personal relationship with Christ you just know, and people who dont have that cant nessessarily understand that, especially if they are not excepting, its so hard.

If it is a serious question asked by someone seeking truth and understanding, that is fine (even if it is an academic type question). what is aggravating is when people ask questions just to aggravate you, not because they want to learn.

Any uninvited question qualifies. Polite people don't ask these questions. You don't have to answer anything about your beliefs. They are between you and God.

Why do you believe in something that doesn't exist? (GOD)

WHY::::I cant explain in a way that would matter to anyone other than me. Its a personal experience after years of being Atheist that changed my views. I don't try to preach to anyone else, so I don't appreciate being preached to.

Most annoying question: "Why do you not understand that you worship Satan whether you believe in him or not? He believes in you!"

Why? I think the answer is obvious.
