There are these two men both of whom I care for. With one I would have it all he is a very caring sensitive man. We get along good and he would do anything to make things work out between us. Our kids also get along great. I am happy when I see him. He has made me his life and that is hard to take at times. With him I would have a happy secure and stable life and in my head he is the better choice. Guess the problem is the other guy who is so deeply rooted in my heart. We were friends it went further he got scared didn't tell me how he felt I moved on so it goes. It has always felt wrong to let him go and move on but I did except he still has my heart and they both know it. I know I can make a good life with the first guy so is it wrong to follow my head and hope my heart catches up completely with time?

...follow your heart first sweetie. Sometimes thinking with our heads will get us in trouble. I say the heart doesn't lie,...but certainly our heads sometimes do! Nothings ever gonna be perfect,...but I'd rather be using my heart and end up happy then using my head and ending up filling it full of anxiety. Use your heart sweetie. Good luck to you darling.

Follow your HEAD! The heart is not practical, we do silly things based on our emotions. We have blinders on when the emotions take control, and miss those things that should have been a red light to us. From your post it seems you have totally thought about your life with #1, but have nothing thought out about #2 except that at one time you both moved on and you think you shouldn't have.

You need to make a choice:Be with the man your with now or go with the one who you think you should be with.
Cause either way someone's gonna get hurt and it might not be the 2 guys who get hurt it might be you as well.
So you need to think: be with the man who you really know and come to love or be with a guy who's just a heat of the moment kinda of thing.
And follow your heart because your heart will tell you who the right person actually is. And it may not be your ex, your just hoping it is.
But seriously think about it.

Definitely go with your head, the heart can make us do crazy things that will hurt us later in life. It sounds like the head man is kind and sensitive, this will make him a wonderful partner for your life and the life of your children.

It sounds like the big physical attraction is for the second guy (your heart) but the guy whom you get along the best with is the first guy. The one has the potential to make you happy forever. The other is going to be good for the short haul, but it may not last since your kids like the other guy. Maybe the answer is to date neither of them for awhile and see who you miss the most. Truthfully, lust is fleeting. I'd go with that guy who loves you and wants to make you AND your kids happy myself.

Go contact the second guy and see if he wants to talk. If not, move on.
The first guy sounds like he might be smothering you. Again there is nothing chaining you to him.
