my boyfriend and i have only been together for about 4 months, we have a very good connection with one another, he wants me to move in with him in a few months when he gets a new apartment.... what do you think?

Leases ending or starting is flat out the wrong time to move in with someone. It has to be right emotionally and then making it right financially and logistically will follow. You might need to get to know him better. A good connection is a great start, but after 4 months, you're not exactly ready to just dive in and get to know everything about that person all at once, which is what happens when you live together. You should read Shacking Up. It's about everything you need to know and think about before moving in with someone.

Nope... allow yourself more time to get to know him. Preferably when youre married. I always keep something in mind. "never put yourself in a situation where someone can put you out!" If the connection is good, then whats the bother moving in. Let things be. IF you do decided to move in with him... MAKE SURE that your name is on everything as well. if he has a problem with that, red light! Like I said above... you dont want to risk getting into an argument and the next thing you know your clothes are on the lawn. Good Luck

Wait awhile don't rush into things because i was going to move in with my partner when we were together for about 4 months and well I'm glad we didn't because we learned alot more about each other from them and i think its to early into the stage wait till atleast a year or at the least 6 months but i think you should wait a year.

We are waiting until we get married (next Jan or Feb) to live together. My other siblings lived with their BF/GF first, but fro us, we'd prefer to wait. It all depends on your relationship.
