There is a straightener called FHI. And it is AMAZING. There is a temperature setting that goes up to 450 degrees. I'm pretty sure it's the same price as a CHI, but I think you can only get it online. I'm not sure what the link is, but if you searched I'm sure you could find it. As a gift they also give you this GREAT product called "Hot Sauce". It keeps it from frying your hair. And it doesn't make it all oily either. So basically, you should get that above all the other choices. CHI's a crap anyway! =)
Ah! I just found the link. http://www.folica.com/FHI_Ceramic_Ion_d1845.html
It's actually way less than a CHI...and trust me, from experience, it's WAAAAAY better!

The CHI by far is the better choice for your hair! I also straighten mine everyday ... Another thing that help alot is the CHI heat protecting serum , you can buy at a professional establishment (and ive even seen on Ebay for real cheap ) but adding a dime sized amount of that to wet hair then blow drying and straightning HELPS A LOT. . trust me , also I use the Fructis Shine Mist finishing spray at the very end when eveything is done. Its very light, gives shine and makes your hair look and feel healthier! Also its not expensive:)

CHI usually works really well. I would use one that has ION's in it. Since your hair is thin and easily damage blow drying and straightening will damage it even more. Make sure you are using some kind of heat protection too. I dont know what hair type you have, but wrapping it helps to keep it straight.

CHI! I have the same problem, but my hair is so much better now from using it with a heat styling protector. I use Redken Spray Starch or the Chi Iron Guard. Also use a silker like Kiehls silk straightner groom cream! Rocks!

I really like my flat iron.... its made by Metropolis. You can find them at Ulta (if you have one of those stores near you). You can set the temperature in incremates of 20 degrees going all the way up to 400 degrees. It has a really good warranty as well.
